Year in year out, we lose many lives due to the bad roads in Kitui. Our farmers find it hard to get their produce to the markets on time and the sick among us are not able to make it to hospital because vehicles can’t reach them.

Transport has become very expensive as the matatus cannot reach near our homes.

We must change this.

The Mueke administration shall:

• Purchase a dedicated grader for every ward.
• Build passable bridges across every river,
• Tarmac roads around town centers

I will ensure that the people of Kitui County do not continue to suffer. This is a problem with solutions.

Ensuring we have good roads all around our county will enhance trade and grow our local economy.
